This live album, recorded two months after The Last Matador, may be considered the final part of the Matador Trilogy.  It begins with the death of the old matador and Extreme Unction

(the Roman Catholic ritual also called Last Rites) and follows his consciousness into the Afterworld through the stages of the bardo (from the Tibetan Book of the Dead).
